We have not found a sectional yet, the search continues. What we have realized is that we had very different ideas about what a "sectional" was - or at least what style of one our family room is begging for. It's that whole man vs. woman style thing - nothing all that original. "look" vs. "comfort/functionality". I have to say, after much discussion with others, Matt is probably right (don't tell him I said that though). ;-)
Saturday was an awesome night with my girl friends! Fun, fun, fun. I just love them sometimes!
Matt got out with a guy friend for a movie, and we both stayed up late together and slept in VERY late (late for us anyway). We had a nice day Sunday as a family too.
Which meant Star Wars battles, a visit from our loving Neena Joan (matt's mom), and lot's of football watching.
All in all a great weekend.
Still - both Matt and I couldn't help but think how very lucky we are vs. the people in Haiti. I know money helps, and realistically - that's about all we can do right now. Sometimes I just wish I could quit my job and go help in person in places like that. Truth is, I'm probably not qualified in the least and would just end up crying and hugging people and not helping all that much... so I'll send money to help those that ARE qualified I suppose. And prayers .... lots of prayers!

So what was the debate about on sectionals? I am curious to see what you decide on!
I was looking at more "streamlined" styles.
Straight lines, no arm rests breaking it up, no recliners built in.
Matt says they were too formal.
Matt likes the ones with recliners built in, more comfy, hidden compartments, drink holders possibly.
Practical wise - his is probably more our lifestyle - and it is for the informal family room...I just don't like the looks of the ones we've seen in that style as much so far.
So - we keep looking for something of a compromise.
