Shaun had his first flag football game yesterday - and it was great. He just loved it.
When he is in his "sports" zone, he doesn't even want us to talk to him. (no he's 5, not 15)
But at the end of the game when we recapped for him all the cool things we saw him do, he was very proud.
He got 4 tackles (pulled of flags of the other team), and he ran in one of the extra points after touchdown for his team. He also got a very cool medal that one kid gets every game that is for sportsmanship! (During the game he accidentally knocked down a kid on the other team when pulling his flag, and after he helped him up and made sure he was all right.).
It was fun to watch, and he had fun - so all in all a great 1st game.
