Rain, Rain, go away...

We have had 5 inches of rain in the last week. 3-4 of which came pretty much in a 24 hour period. Not a big deal to most of you, but in Arizona - that is our normal YEARLY rain fall!
Flooding, and cold, but nothing compared to other disaster areas. Still, we are ready for it to go away.
Football practices were both cancelled this week and no game today either....all made for a very sad and stir crazy Shaun!
We've had lot's of Star Wars battles, board games, gymnastics competitions, and whining. But we made it through to Saturday - oh, glorious Saturday ... The kids are staying at Neena Pat and Papa Jerry's tonight!
I'm having my girlfriends over as it is my month to host Bunco. Matt's going to go work out at the gym, and then hide upstairs during "Girl time".

It will be nice to have some adult time away and the kids will be soooo happy to get away from grumpy mom and dad I think.

Better run - we are off to look at sectional couches. Not sure we'll buy today - but taking a look anyway. Then some shopping and lunch at Fashion Square. Should be a nice afternoon!
