There is sadness around our house this morning...The Wildcats lost in the Holiday Bowl against Nebraska last night.
And not just lost - but got destroyed! Shut Out completely! Nick Foles threw for like 30 yards the entire game! Ugh.
We had a great party with family and friends over - the kids had an absolute blast! - there was good food and drinks! - there was a thrown princess shoe from the 2nd story to the 1st story that resulted in a broken snow globe! It was by all those indications, A Great Cottrell Party!
...However, our beloved Wildcats looked like they never showed up, didn't even belong...
There is Sadness!
We will move on - I'm working from home this morning, the kids are downstairs watching cartoons, and Matt is cleaning up. Later today we will drop the kids for a fun Grandparent / Kid New Years Eve Party and the Adult Cousins will head off to the Inisight Bowl. I'm sure it will be fun, but a bit of bitterness will remain in the back of my mouth for my Cats. ;-(

Thanks for a fun night! Chatty and Bia loved every minute of it and so did we!! Your family is so fun to hang out with (and as always B & J). Hope it is going well (as well as it can go) in ND. Tell your mom we're thinking of her and your grandma! Happy 2010 from the great state of FLORIDA!
