Classroom Christmas Party...

Shaun has a Christmas party in his classroom today and parents are invited to help/attend.
Okay - let's be honest - there have been numerous occasions that parents could help with or attend, but this will be my first! I'm THAT mom...the working mom, who doesn't take time off to help with the class functions often (never yet - if you are keeping score). Big Fat Zero in that book.
I arranged to work from home today so that at 1pm I can take a late lunch break and head over to his class.
I'm excited to go today, Shaun is excited that I'm coming - so much so that I feel bad I haven't before - it obviously means a lot to him that I'm going.
Is it silly that I'm a little nervous? (Don't answer that).
We had a fundraising night last night at Culver's and ran into one of his classmates and his family. I've met them a couple times and they are very nice.
I know she has already volunteered in the class.
But I work....um, so does she.
But I have a little one too - uh, she has TWIN 3 yr olds.
But, but, but ... yes - I'm intimidated to go to the class because all the other "good" moms are going to point and stare and mock me for being THAT mom!
Okay - not really that nervous - but still...Wish me luck.

UPDATE: The party was great. Other mom's - what other moms?!? I had so much fun with Shaun and him being so proud to show me around and make a Gingerbread house with me that it was hard to tell other moms were even there. I will say that I tried to talk to two of them and got little if any reaction or conversation - so I just moved on and focused on my little man.
I had literally 5 different kids come up to me at times throughout it saying Shaun was so funny. Uh, oh - class clown on our hands?
