Cry baby...

My poor, sweet little girl has been overly emotional lately. It's driving Matt Crazy!
I'm a little (only a little) more patient about it, because that was me when I was a kid.
I feel for her when she gets all upset over little things...There is nothing harder than trying to "not make something a big deal", when you know it shouldn't be, but you feel like it is. Also, someone telling you that you are over-reacting or overly-emotional just makes you feel more emotional - not less.
This is the age for it - so hopefully that's all it is, and I haven't passed this trait onto my adorable sweet natured little angel.

Yesterday at school Ainsley's little friend, Zueleka (yes that is a real name...pronounced zoo-leek-ah) told Ainsley she is a cry-baby. Ainsley told me this story on the way home and while I felt bad for her, I couldn't help but think that maybe it's a good thing if a little peer pressure can scare this trait out of her repetoire.

Let's just hope this stage passes soon, before daddy pulls all his hair out! ;-)
