The End of an Era

An Era has come to an end...that Era was Tutor Time and our kids.

With heavy heart, Matt, Shaun, Ainsley and I said goodbye to our friends at Tutor Time yesterday. They have been very good to us for the most part, and we have so many beloved teachers there that we are sad to say good bye to.

We think we are making the right decision moving Ainsley to the new place - but it makes us no less sad to leave those people that have been so loving and so good to our children through the years. We have been there since Shaun was 18 months old! Ainsley started there at 6 months!

The new place is awesome - and being privately run is able to have a lot more flexibility and less overhead and smaller classroom sizes. They have a very well rounded approach and she'll have opportunities to focus on traditional education as well as lots of Art, Music, even planting and harvesting in a garden and helping care for some animals.

However, it was sad saying goodbye to our friends...

Like Ainsley's buddy Kira...who loves A so much she gets jealous if she says she has any other friends.
And Miss Nikki who single handedly potty trained BOTH Shaun and Ainsely - without her I'm convinced they would both go to college in diapers!
And Ainsley's current and loving teacher, Ms. Jackie.

Here's Ains, saying good-bye to her other fav friend, Addison, who asks me every day if she can come to Ainsley's house. So cute.

and of course Ms. Stephanie (our asst. director) who has given so much love to our kids through the years.
We love and will miss you all!
