Weekend update

Lot's of fun and general business this weekend.
Friday we had to finish up the school supply shopping and so we decided to have dinner out before. We hit Macaroni grill and the kids ate like horses! It was amazing. (Not to mention mommy got to have 2 glasses of wine and some decent conversation with the hubby uninterupted while the kids had their mouths full) ;-)
Shaun got his new backpack and a lunch bag. He played with them both all weekend, pretending he was going to school. He's so excited for Kindergarten he can hardly stand it.

Saturday Shaun had a b-day party for a friend at daycare and it was bowling! He loved it - and all his best buddies were there. All the kids had so much fun it was sad to think they are all going to leave each other for their own Kindergarten's in a couple weeks. Many of them have been together since there were babies!

Saturday night some friends across the street hosted a "hot august night" party. Since we had no sitter Matt had to sit this one out - but I went and had a blast! Billiards tourney, Beer pong, Flip Cup, and pool volleyball - paired with fun people, good food and cold beer. A nice night away from my normal reality!

Sunday we decided to try out the Phoenix Children's museum. We hadn't been there yet and the kids loved it! Not very expensive and lots of cool indoor fun for our aged kids. I would def. recommend it to anyone with little ones.

So - it was a busy weekend and lots of fun with the kids - but I'm exhausted.
Blessed!!! , but exhausted.
