Weekend over - thank God!

We headed up north to the in-laws cabin this weekend to get out of the heat.
We just love going up there. The kids can play outside all day, we get a bit of a break with help from Neena Joan and Poppy Bob, and we all get some quad rides and walks in at some point.

This weekend - it didn't quite work that way.

From about 15 minutes after we left home the tantrums, acting up, and blow outs started. They pretty much continued all weekend. It was strange. Shaun has been really good for the past few months, but this weekend was a doozy! Lot's of time-outs, a few spanks even.

But - we made it through alive, the kids too (barely), and we starting a new week.
