Tuesday - a little brighter (a little)

Good news! Joan's surgery went well. Now the hard part - the next week will be really rough. Lot's of pain when they crack the chest, but we are told the more they force her to move around through the pain, the sooner she'll get to come home. S0, knowing Joan and how tough she is, she'll probably be home by lunch today! (just kidding, 5-7 days they tell us).

I still can't stop thinking about my poor cousin, Jenn and her family though. All day yesterday I was thinking how much she is sacrificing and kept imagining hugging my kids goodbye knowing it would be 6.5 months until I could touch them again. I was on the verge of tears every time I thought of it.
Then, last night I thought of poor Traver putting their sweet 4 yr old Reganne to bed by himself. I could almost hear her asking for mommy, and it broke my heart how hard it will be for him, and them for a while.

I just pray it goes quickly and that this time becomes a special time for Traver to bond even more with Regs and little baby Payton.
