Strike 3, or is it strike 23? I've lost count...

After all our gearing up over the weekend to get Shaun ready to have an amazing turn around in behavior at school this week - Matt picked him up last night and Shaun informed him that he was bad again.
Talking in class so much that he lost both recesses and he "thinks" he didn't make his day.

Two side comments here...
1) Does it make me a bad parent that I had no idea he had 2 recesses instead of just 1?

2) I thought it was required for me to sign a document when he didn't "make his day", where are the notes on this?

He was grounded last night no tv, no toys, just homework and then read books on his own in his room. He was NOT happy about this at all - which probably is good because obviously losing recess and missing practice last week didn't do the trick.

Anyway - I was discussing this with a friend at work last week and this week because he has kids around my kids ages and an older one who's been there/done that. And he asks, um - has the kid(s) he is seated by changed recently? Um, yes - actually right about the time this all started a couple weeks ago. He says - duh Laurie - have the teacher move him.

So, I ask Shaun last night if any other kids have been missing recess other days - or specifically yesterday. Yes, and he named 2 of the 3 other kids at his table. Ugh. Duh - Laurie!

Yes - I'm calling Mrs. C this afternoon to request he be moved and schedule a conference for later in the week to see what else is necessary.
