The kids had a great vacation from Mom and Dad last week going up North with Neena Joan and Poppy Bob and they had a blast.
They did LOTS of cool things - but one of the coolest was a trip to the Grand Canyon to visit their Auntie Jo (she works and lives there). They had such a blast and had lots of stories to tell.
Here's Ainsley in her new (Pink of course) cowboy hat. They even picked out presents for us since we weren't there. So sweet!
Of course once we came up on Friday for the July 4th weekend - there was LOTS of quad riding!
Shaun could hardly wait to test out his new Quad in the forest - and boy he rode it great! I think "quad-y", as he likes to call it, is happy to have a rest today now that we are home!
Ainsley really enjoyed her quad riding (on the back of mommy/daddy) a lot this time as well. She was all smiles and just loved each and every ride! Uh-Oh - we may have another quad in our future in a couple years. (A Pink one I'm sure!)
Gotta love Father/Son quads....
Of course we also had to do our requisite Fort Building as well. We are getting pretty good at it I think!
