My first born, my little baby boy is turning 7 years old today! It's hard to believe he's that big already - I still can feel him tiny in my arms if I close my eyes. Cliche, I know - but so true in my heart.
He had a fun bday party, sleepover with a two best buddies on Friday night, and while there wasn't a ton of "sleep" it was lots of fun for sure!!!
We went to CrackerJax and drove GoKarts and Bumper Boats, and played Water Wars, ate dinner and did it all again! ...We had LOTS of fun!!!
We came home and had cupcakes and then went Night Swimming! Fun!!!
Then we watched Kung Fu Panda and ate popcorn to "calm down"...yea, right - Note to Self: Kung Fu movies, even animated ones, DO NOT calm 7 year old boys!
We did eventually get them to bed by 10:20, and asleep by about 11pm - but they were up and asking for pancakes at about 6am...so I'm sure they are very well behaved for their parents today! Nice.
I don't know who was more excited about the new Quad he got though - us giving it to him and getting to see his amazing reaction - or him for getting it. It was a DREAM birthday for Shaun this year and we are so happy for him!
