It was also a fun filled trip full of family time, acres of green grass, parks, Field day, Quad riding, Choir concert, and endless supplies of popcorn and cousins! A dream trip for Shaun and Ainsley!
We visited several awesome MN parks. Ainsley loved having Julia push her on the swings.
Shaun loved playing baseball with cousin Parker and Uncle Mark (oh and dad too).
Uncle Mark has an awesome fire pit and even though mom and dad thought it was kind of late - Cool Uncle Mark insisted the kids should have a late night hot dog cooked on the campfire.
Ainsley ADORED their dogs Chloe (pictured below) and Lola. Even though it took the entire trip for her to finally remember their names. (Little Doggie and Doggie).
We made a day trip out to a typical MN lake and park. Kids thought it was huge - but it's actually pretty small by Minnesota standards!
We had a fun trip to Sea Life at the Mall of America too.
All in all a great trip and they were very nice to let us invade their lives and homes so we could have lots of cousin time in both Chicago and Minnesota! Great Vacation to kick of a Great Summer 2011!

OK- you and Matt have the most beautiful nieces - on both sides of your families! And they seem so great with your kids! Love - love - love! I can't believe how old everyone is getting! We hope Shaun has a fabulous birthday on Saturday - we'll be thinking of him as we head South! I am so looking forward to lots of green grass and trees and sand and waves!!
