We lost - 13-9 - but the boys played so amazing! It was tight - within 1-2 runs the entire game until the last inning - when they snuck 2 more in and we just couldn't make it happen at our last at bat to catch up.
However - Shaun played so great at 1st base! He was like VELCRO out there! Nothing getting past him (okay - 1 got past him - but that's it in the entire game and he had a lot of action last night!)
So many of our boys were great and it was such a close game until the end that it was really fun to watch!
Our Boys were sad they lost - but had such great attitudes and really, really loved the experience of post-season play and competition!
Friday our Dynamite Orange team faced off with the Scottsdale "A" team that beat us our first game - so we were cheering Orange on to take them out and move on to the Championship game. They did it - and then met a VERY tough Ramms team in the Championship and fell a bit short. Boy was it all fun to watch though!
It was such a fun time the past month and I can hardly believe there is no baseball next week. ..... No Baseball? What - Ever - Will we do with all our time?!?
