Our team, the Dynamite Blue team, had their first game.
The excitement and intensity was in the air and it was fun to see the boys geared up and ready!
I'm not sure who was more excited, the coaches or the kids (or the parents!).
We started off strong and scored right away - but alas, it would not last. We played the Scottsdale "A" team and they are great batters and very aggressive base runners and we just could not keep up with them.
On the bright side - Shaun had a great game. ;-)
The good news is that it is a 2 game elimination playoff and so we get to play again tonight. And our opponent tonight is a bit more evenly matched. We have an injured player too, so the coaches are going to have to revamp line ups and positions and reload tonight.
