Mother's Day 2010

What a great mother's day I've had! My hubby did an amazing job making sure I felt loved and appreciated all day!

I started the day with him keeping the kids busy so I could have a leisurely shower without "little" interuptions! Nice! I could have stayed in there all day if we didn't have to got to Mass.

I got presents right away - a new fold up chair to take to sports events of Shaun's that has a built in canopy shade on it! Awesome!

Some beautiful, thoughtful artwork from Shaun and Ainsley, a dbacks coffee mug and tshirt!

Then, I saw this piece of paper in the bag ...hmmm what is that? It was tickets for the all four of us to go to the diamondbacks game today! Awesome Again!

Off we went to church, Dunkin' Donuts after where I got a very yummy sausage and egg white flatbread sandwhich that I love, but never indulge in.

Once we got home he INSISTED I go out for a while, sans kids...and I did! Got a little shopping done for a wedding shower I have next weekend.

I came home, got ready and we headed off to the game. We had good seats, yummy food, cold beer (for me at least), and lots of fun! I was amazed at how much fun Ainsley had (this was her first game ever). It made it fun for me when she got so excited about little things.

Like eating peanuts out of the shell and throwing them on the floor. "More Nuts Mommy!"

She also loved dancing and singing in the 7th inning stretch very much!

She was sure tuckered out by the time we made it to the car on the way home though!

Now, Matt is making us dinner and told me to go away and "chill"! I don't really remember how to chill anymore - so I'm blogging of course, but still - enjoyable for sure!

I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband and great kids! Thank you Lord for all my blessings!

And to all you Mother's out there that might read this - You are so loved, and so needed, and so special and strong! Happy Mother's Day to you!!!

Wow! You were one pampered Momma today! Good for you, you deserve it! Sure wish we could have a "Mother's Day" once a month though instead of once a year!

I hear ya BMB! I told the kids at breakfast this morning that it was still Mother's Day all week and I made them say Happy Mother's Day to me again. Is that wrong? :-)
