Update and Shameless plug...

All is well at the Cottrell household. Shaun is still loving Kindergarten. He learns so much and so quick now - it's crazy! New stuff every day. Yesterday was Hero's day at his school and he had lunch with a Policeman, a Fireman, and a Soldier. He got autographs and a pencil from his new friends and of course had lots of stories to share. He let them know his Uncle Mark is a hero too, but he lives in Minnesota so he couldn't come to school. ;-) so cute!
Ainsley still loves her room like crazy and is sleeping very well in it. Still wakes up once per night for an extra hug or a trip to the bathroom (but she did that in her old room too). She's really looking forward to turning 3 and being a "big girl" soon.

In other news - I beseech you to give me your vote! (Well - actually give my Aunt Carla your vote.) For those of you who know me, you know my Aunt Carla is an amazing artist. You've seen her quilts all over my house (as well as other items she's made me - like my famous U of A fabric chip bowl you all have commented on).
Anyway - she and a quilting friend of hers have entered a contest. Here's what you do...
Go to www.allpeoplequilt.com
the contest is the 3rd quarterly challenge
the keyword to get right to their entry is "Callipygian"
Feel free to check out the other entries - but their's is the best (I'm not biased at all).
You can look now - but the voting starts Sep. 15th and goes through Sep. 21st.
Vote Often!!!
