Spartan's Baseball - Back on top!

We've made a jump from NYS to a new Baseball league!

We have our "old" crew back together and the old coaching duo of Dennis and Matt - who led the mightly Spartan's to victory 2 seasons ago. The kids and the coaches are having a blast being back together at practices - and the new kids fit right in as well. Games start in a couple weeks - but practices have been going great.

In this league, they have kids under 7 using the tee again (rather than coach pitch). Shaun was disappointed at first, but we know in the long run it is going to be much better for developing good batting skills - so we're being positive about it and he seems to be going with the flow now.

He's gotten some good feedback from the coaches (even the one that's NOT his dad), so I think he'll put up some good stats this season! ;-)

Go Spartans!
On his toes for catching the throw to first base.
Great "butt tag" on first base (that's what Coach Dennis called it). Too funny.

Tagging out in this pic and throwing home in the next. MLB here we come ;-)
Getting some batting practice in with Coach Matt and Coach Dennis.

Okay - so these obviously aren't Shaun at baseball - but I couldn't resist. This cute little outfit was a hand-me-down from our friend Paige - and it is just to cute! Matt said she looked like she was trying to be Brit-Brit with the ponies in her hair - but I think she's much cuter than that!
