"God Bless God"

I hate to admit it...but after a full work day, working out, taking Ainsley to her 3 year check-up and flu shots for both the kids, getting them fed, in jammies, 2 books for Ainsley and tucking her in...I was contemplating the quick tuck in for Shaun.

I'm so glad I decided he deserved his full tuck-in with books, chit-chat, and prayers.

During his prayers we hit the standards then the round of "God bless.......fill in the blank".
Of course, his sister, mommy, daddy - even a shout out to Dr. Rampley since we had just seen her and she is the best pediatrician ever! Then I ask my usual question - "Did we miss anyone?"
Sometimes I get a friend from school, or a cousin he's been thinking about, or even one of his stuffed animals. Tonight he said - "God, mommy, God Bless God!".

Leave it to my sweet little 5 year old tough boy to humble me still, and remind me of what is important in life. Not sleep, not a clean kitchen - but the precious moments like that one.
I love you baby boy! I love you so much!
