The new room fall-out...

So, for the most part the Ainsley's new room was a huge success!
Shaun was a little jealous right at first, but then I gave him a pack of U of A Sports self stick wall stickers and he went to town "updating" his room a little and he was fine.

As for Ainsley and her new room - she adores it. Most of the day she wouldn't leave it.
She and Shaun played in there together for hours yesterday. They put on their jammies and kept "pretending" to go to bed, then they'd get up and play, then go to bed, and do it again and again. So cute seeing them play together - and so cute that she loves her room that much.

I think she said "Thank you mommy for my Princess room" like 20 times throughout the day.
I about peed my pants though, when after bath we went in there to get a pull-up and she followed me in. All of sudden I hear her behind me on the bed rolling around buck naked and singing - I'm naked on my princess bed...la la la...I'm naked on my princess bed....
Seriously - that kid just kills me. :-)

The real test of course was at nap and bed time. Nap time went perfect - she actually ASKED to go take a nap. And slept a solid 1.5 hours without a peep. At the end of the night she ASKED to go to bed again! Yeah! But she woke up at after being asleep a few hours and was kind of scared. Between 9:30 and 11:00pm she called out crying about 4 times, but the last time I laid with her for about 15 minutes, said good night and she didn't get up again at all. Hopefully that will be the last of that. I did ask her at one point during this "scared" time if she still liked her new room and she said "No mommy, I LOVE my new room - I'm just a little scared at first". Such an insightful little girl! I just loved watching her sleep in that big bed full of pink. She looked as cute as ever!
