Dance, Dance, Dance!

Ainsley tried out her first dance class last night and she LOVED it.
As soon as I picked her up from pre-school to go there, she couldn't stop chatting about it. She was very exicted, told all her friends at school she was going and they "played ballet" on the playground too.

The class is a combo class that has the 1st half as ballet and the 2nd as tap. She was a bit shy, but did everything she was instructed and watched the pretty, young blonde teacher in awe like she was Barbie herself! She said she definitely wants to do this instead of gymnastics for a while - but she did also say after that she wants to try soccer (mommy cheers). ;-)

It was a great class and I like the teacher and the other girls in her class - and the place is very organized and I like that too. It turns out they are starting to learn a dance for their spring recital starting next week so we need to decide if we want to join full time or not. Of course there is $$ needed for recital fee, tickets, dance costume as well - but I guess since we got all our leotards, tap shoes and ballet slippers free as hand me downs from our friends -I can't really complain!
