Yesterday Matt had the day off. (He has lots of vacation time saved up and needs to use some before the end of the year - so he's taking Friday's off this month).
Anyway - it was the 1st time I had him home all day while I work from my home office.
I have to say - it was nice. I liked having him around to see his handsome face throughout the day. We went and had lunch together. We talked without interuptions, face to face, without phones or texts, or emails.
At then end of the day, as I went to get Ainsley to take her to gymnastics - Matt went and picked up Shaun and took him to the batting cages. It was a nice day, for sure!
Once again, I am feeling so blessed.
Blessed I have a husband that gives me time away with the girls when I need it. Blessed I have a husband I enjoy alone time with and who wants to talk with me and appreciates me. Blessed for my beautiful, funny, talented, loving children. Blessed I am able to work from home full time now and all the benefits it brings to our family, and my juggling act. The list could go on and on...
But you get the point!
The agenda for today brings us grocery shopping, college football, a very hot mid-day baseball game, and house cleaning. I guess I better get going!
