Tidbits

Shaun had the BEST fielding day ever in his baseball game on Saturday! He got 3 outs, made many great plays at 3rd, 2nd and 1st! Even another great one in the outfield. Kids got great defensive instincts. He got a hit on his last at bat too! So fun to watch him progress!

We had some friends over on Sunday to watch football and have the kids play (Shaun and their boy have been friends since they were 18 months old!). The kids were CRAZY wild for some reason and we actually got in the pool to swim! Isn't it October - why is it still hot enough to swim!?

I'm on my last round of my diet, the strict part and so I'm cooking 2-3 meals a night again now. One for the family, special one for me, and usually some additional thing for Ainsley since she won't ever eat anything.

So - yesterday I had 2 crock pots going as well as some pans. My adoring husband offered to clean up while I went to the store. He did an awesome job.

That is until I opened the cabinet they reside in this morning and found them stacked on top of each other and both were broken. Ugh.

I can't really blame him though - my cupboards are packed and precarious. I have a system of how everything fits and I've never shared said system.

Oh - well, now I get a new crockpot! or two! ;-)
