Weekend full of fun

We had a great weekend full of lots of fun things!

I got to have the night off on Friday. I met up with some old friends from my previous job for happy hour and then headed off to Bunco with my girls. Both were lot's of fun and nice break from the normal duties.

Saturday - Shaun's football game was so fun. Lot's of kids played well and his best buddy scored 2 TD's, Shaun got some good flag pulls and played really aggressive! With 26 seconds left it was tied up, but Shaun broke free and scored the winning touchdown! It was so exciting at pee-wee football this week!

We topped Saturday night off with a fun time at my parent's house. Lot's of Wii golf, hot tub relaxing and a wonderful dinner - complete with Chocolate Cherry Cake for dessert!

Sunday morning we had a little "accident" in church. Right in the middle of Father Don's Homily about living a moral Catholic life - Ainsley popped the head off Surfer Barbie and started to cry. I managed to calm her, assuring her I could fix her when we got home - but I was wrong. Not fixable. Yikes.

Sunday afternoon - Matt took BOTH the kids to the range to hit some golf balls and they both loved it. This was Ainsley's first time and she really seemed to get into it! Maybe we finally found her sport?

We wrapped up our weekend full of sports fun with some playing outside with our friends and then watching the snowboarder's shred at the x-games. Shaun LOVES Shaun White - so he was very excited to see him win!

All in all - a great weekend for the Cottrell Family!
