Wildcat Game Fun

We headed down to Tucson this weekend to catch the U of A vs. USC football game
We do this for one game every year with Shaun and this year decided to bring Ainsley too!
Our friends the Donatelli family joined us this time as well - so it was even more fun!

Here is all the kids in their Go Cats gear at the hotel, ready to head to the mall for tailgating and the Wildcat Walk.

After LOTS of football on the mall with daddy, we waited for the Wildcat Walk, where all the football team players walk in to the stadium and shake hands with fans.

We met Cheeerleaders, Band members, Wilma and Wilbur. Lot's of fun!

Ainsley loved watching the cheerleaders and meeting Wilma especially!

Shaun and Lacey loved Wilbur too!

Shaun got high fives or fists from so many of his favorite players. I can't even tell you how excited he was during this. It was so fun to watch him meet his "heros". ;-)
A couple highlights were Coach Stoops...

... and Nick Foles.

Here's Ainsley and I in the game...ready for a fun night.

It turned out quite different than we planned. The Cats fought hard, but lost. It was also super cold. Especially for Arizona kids. We had hot dogs, burritos, popcorn and M&M's, but we still couldn't keep those little ones from freezing and finally falling asleep on our laps. All except Shaun that is. That kid just LOVES his football too much to miss a minute.

We all had fun despite the cold, but may try to do a game in warmer weather next year!
Update: one more pic that Cindy took of the girls with the cheerleaders. Love it!
