I've gotten and recovered from strep throat...gotta love penicillin!
Shaun went 4 for 4 in his baseball game Saturday. His team shut out the other team and he got awarded the game ball.
My Cats played embarassingly poor on Saturday night.
My Cardinals looked great up until the last 3.5 minutes when they coughed up 2 touchdowns and then laid down during overtime to give Brett Farve and the stupid Vikings the win.
Oh - and in church this morning we were asked as a family to bring up the gifts. Shaun and Ainsley did great, and when we got back to our pew, and I'm feeling so proud of them participating to this small degree in Mass....Shaun says "I think since we helped with that, we should get to leave early today." Hmmmmm.
So, what's left to do, but cook! :-) I'm making a fun recipe with the kids tonight called Pizza Dippers. Basically where you make breadsticks out of pizza dough filled with the normal pizza toppings - and then make pizza sauce/marinara to dip them in. The kids and Matt should love them. (I'm having eggplant pizza's instead - which I LOVE!)

I love Shaun's comment at Mass!! Sounds like something D would have said at that age! The girls are so excited to hang with their buddies this weekend!!
