Happy Veterans Day!

Thank you to all of the men and women out there who serve or have served our country.

All you have to do is watch the Hollywood stars who give all their money away to other countries (instead of helping their own) to see how good we have it here in America.

Yes - we have our own problems with poverty and inequality - but overall the rights and opportunities we have in the U.S. are so great compared to others. And the biggest reason for that is all our amazing military men and women who sign up, to risk their life defending those principles of freedom.

To be able to raise my daughter in a country that wants to hear her voice, or even if they don't - cannot stop her from speaking up - is a blessing.

To be able to sleep at night, knowing that if I work hard, I am in control of my own future -- not some government telling me what I can or cannot do with my life. (well, mostly) - is a blessing.

For my son to see that man in military fatigues on the street and say "Mommy - look, there's a hero". - is a blessing he doesn't even realize.

Thanks to my dad, my uncle, my father-in-law, my cousins David-Mark, Traver, and Jenn.
Thanks to you all!

Amen - and thanks to all of the men and women in your family who have served and continue to serve!
