Help my Niece - Lisa Marie

I often speak of how blessed I am, but probably not often enough. I have so much in life - stable jobs, a nice house, cars, an amazing husband and two totally healthy children.

Why am I telling you this? Well - Matt has a niece, Lisa Marie, who is a sweet 10 year old girl who lives in New York. She has been fighting a rare neurological disorder her entire short little life. It is called Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) and it causes seizures and temporary paralysis and there is no goverment funded research to help her or those affliced. There is no pharmaceutical company interested in developing medicine for her. There are no treatment plans to make life easier for her - or her family. There is no known cause or cure for AHC - YET!
