I almost forgot - we also tried out the Banana Pancakes and they were a HUGE hit with both the kids and me! (Matt doesn't like pancakes at all so he didn't try them.)
It was so easy - I used store bought pancake mix, but per the recipe in the cook book added in some orange puree, mashed banans and wheat germ. They cooked faster than my normal pancakes so I burned the first few, but once I saw that the rest were fantastic!
I think Ainsley actually had more calories, fiber, vegetable and protein in breakfast on Saturday than she usually does in 2 full days!
This weekend I'm going to try the Chocolate Pancakes out that use the purple puree. Getting my kids to eat spinach inside pancakes? Yeah right! We'll see I guess.

I bet they won't even know the difference. I've been sneaking protein powder and flax seed in the boy's fresh fruit "smoothies" and they don't even know it! Us moms, we're SNEAKY! I'm sold! I'll be running to the bookstore tomorrow! Let's hope I'm as sneaky successful as you!
Matt doesn't like pancakes???
I know - it is a total crime - but he doesn't like pancakes/waffles/french toast - pretty much most yummy breakfast food!
When we have Breakfast for dinner nights - he eats bagels and bacon.
So sad...!
