Quite a weekend here at the Cottrell household.
Shaun had another baseball game Thursday and another on Saturday.
Tough Loss on Thursday to the only team we have a loss to earlier in the season. They just had our number I guess. But the kids played hard all throughout - so still a good lesson in working hard and not giving up no matter what.
They turned it around and got the Win on Saturday though - and Shaun even got a strong double his last at bat.
I had to hear about it 2nd hand because I missed the game to attend my friend Robbie's wedding in Mesa. It was a beautiful wedding and a gorgeous night. Lot's of fun with the girls celebrating with Robbie and Tom.
Of course you can't forget that today is Easter! The Easter bunny came and was very generous. We hit church in our pretty Easter clothes and we had our annual Easter Egg hunt with the neighbors. We'll finish off with a nice visit with the Cottrell/Hughes clan at our wonderful cousin's house tonight.
