Including baking, a Wii tournament, shopping, Peter Piper play date, and a Swimming/Pizza/Wii party at Neena Pat's for her birthday! It was fun for all of us! It was no Cabo, or Hawaii ... but we had a fun family focused Spring Break. Next year - St. Lucia?!?

Spring Break
Spring Break really only counts if you are a school age kid, or a parent of school age kids who has a job that you can take an entire week off. This year - neither Matt nor I could take the whole week off, and since Ainsley is not school age yet - Spring Break becomes less fun, and more shuffling of Shaun from place to place. He had a blast regardless though! He got to go to Camp for his after school program on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday they even had an awesome "games to you" day. They got to play Wii, Xbox, etc, and Laser Tag! He had a blast. Wednesday he got a fun and busy day with Neena Joan full of gardening, swimming, and a special lunch. Thursday Matt took off and kept both Ainsley and Shaun with him. He had big fun plans of an outing that got spoiled with some awful behavior that had to be punished. It was not fun for any of us. But follow thru on the punishment was essential - and it turns out productive! The rest of the weekend the kids were both SO well behaved it was crazy! Love it when parenting actually works out. Friday I took off and the kids and I had a very fun filled day!
