Family "Staycation"

We took a family "Staycation" this weekend at a local resort.

Phoenix is such a huge vacation destination for people from other places and so we are lucky to have many resorts to choose from. And - since summer is the "slow" season out here - you can get good rates at them.

We stayed at the Pointe Hilton for 3 days and 2 nights and had a blast.

And, I feel good that we put the money back into the Phoenix economy too!

This is one of the rare moments where the kids sat still and chilled in the hotel room.

One of the thousand times Shaun went down the cool waterslide. And a rare shot of him sitting up instead of spinning around, going on tummy, etc...

I wish I had gotten some pictures of us in the lazy river - but it was hard to be in 2 places at once. So, I just have the pictures in my head...lot's of fun!
