Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday by itself, but add to it extra days off work/school, a trip for a Uof A Football game in Tucson, Holiday decorating, and Matt's Birthday...and we have a wonderfully, full weekend!
Thanksgiving we made a huge, wonderfully delicious dinner with help from all with my parents, in-laws, Aunt/Uncle, and Cousin. It never ceases to amaze me how it all just comes together and everyone is so generous in their help! Thanks to all for making it such a great day - I am truly Thankful!
Friday I got some Black Friday shopping done early -and then we got to spend the day with my Cousin's boy - AJ. He hung with us so his mom, Barb, could shop. My kids just LOVE cousin time! Thanks for entertaining us AJ! I am pretty sure I should have taken a picture - but the three of them really make a pretty kick-butt band!
Saturday brought the UofA vs. Louisiana-Layfayette game and what is likely Shaun's favorite QB, Nick Foles', last college game. We headed down with all 4 grandparents and hit up the bookstore, played football on the mall, high fived the team at the Wildcat Walk, and cheered on our Wildcats to a great victory!
Finally, we got to celebrate Matt's birthday with him. We hope he knows what an amazing husband and father he is to us and just how much we love him!
My cup seriously overflows with blessings!
