Pumpkin anyone?

Does anyone out there share my obsession with pumpkin?  Especially this time of year?
It's like this glorious little treat of flavors that hides out and I forget all about and this time of year it is everywhere and I love it!

While working today - I multi-tasked and made the 1st stage of my ingredients for a new recipe I'm making on Thursday for Thanksgiving.  Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Spicy Caramel Apple Sauce and Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise.  Today I made the pumpkin bread from scratch, and the Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise.  I tasted each as I was making them and they are sooo yummy on their own!  Tomorrow I am making the custard and the Spicy Caramel Apple Sauce.

My house smells of pumpkin and spices and yummy stuff!

This time of year I love pumpkin everything...pumpkin pie of course, pumpkin spice latte's, pumpkin pie blizzard, and a new one a girlfriend introduced me to at girls night ... pumpkin liquer shots with whip cream!  I may try to find the pumpkin liquer to add to coffee for after Thanksgiving dinner.  Yum!
