The Latest...

I am a blogging slacker. I have good intentions, but then I read my last blog entry and get sad and think why talk about the silly everyday stuff.  But alas - I suppose that is why...so we stop being sad and start living and celebrating the life we do have today.  Because who know what tomorrow will bring!

Okay - enough deep thoughts!  The AZ Cottrells are doing well.  Here is a brief synopsis of the latest and greatest in our fabulously ordinary lives...

I had a brief stint with a stomach bug last week.

I paid $90 to have our pool repaired - despite the fact that it is WAY to cold to actually use for months.

I watched grown men act silly at a 7/8 yr old baseball game that was very hard fought and fun to watch.

I nearly killed my quad muscle playing a double header of soccer games in my co-ed adult league on Sunday.  but - I'm improving!

In Sports - My Wildcat Football team lost an embarassing game, my Cardinal's had a Great win over the Eagles, and the Arizona Basketball team woke up in the 2nd half of their game vs. Ball State to resemble the talent they have and get a win.

And the highlight of the weekend...We took Ainsley's training wheels off of her bike and I almost cried because Shaun whispers to me as she takes off with Matt's help...."Mommy, She sure is growing up fast!".  So sweet!
