Random Thursday morning thoughts

I think I lost my temper 20 times yesterday with my kids.  Considering they are in school for a large portion of the day - that adds up to a really impatient mommy.  Sorry guys!

We've decided to transfer Parish's as a family.  It is going to feel weird to leave the church we've been at for so long, where our kids were baptized.  However enough has changed there to make us feel it isn't the best fit for us anymore -and the new church we are going to seems like just the right place for us.  Watch out St. Gabriel's the Arch Angel ----- here come the Cottrell's!

I'm volunteering in Shaun's classroom this year on a regular basis.  Every Monday morning from 9-10:15am.
I've been told this is a specatcular thing to do for both me and Shaun (and the class of course).  Let's hope I can pull out patient mommy.  (I'm very lucky to work telecommute from home and I match East Coast hours, so I can start work a bit early and take this as my lunch hour.)

Shaun and Ainsley Indoor Soccer center has started bootcamp's there in the early morning.  It's much cheaper than I've seen it else where and I could sure use the intense workout it would bring.  However, it is about 15 minutes away and it starts at 5am.  Is it worth getting up at 4:20, 3 times a week, for 6 weeks, to do this?!?  I bet I'd love the results - but I am SO not a morning person!

On another soccer note - Their Soccer place approached me yesterday asking if I'd be interested in coaching there.  I'm not exactly sure how they know or saw my credentials - but it is flattering for sure.  I'd LOVE to do that - but considering Shaun is Mr. Baseball, and Ainsley has let us know her venture in soccer is O.V.E.R and wants to go back to gymnastics....I don't think I can do it.  I used to coach without having kids of course, but now life is too busy to do it if my kids aren't even participating.  Oh well.  Molding of those young soccer minds will have to wait until my kids want nothing to do with me anyway.

I'm sure there is more interesting things going on in our lives - but I suppose I should get back to work...pack some lunches...review school papers...get kids dressed, fed. hair brushed, mohawks put up,  Oh - and make coffee!

You are welcome to mold my child's young soccer mind anytime!! How much is boot camp and where is it? Getting up that early is horrible - but worth it in the end! I feel like i scream at my kids for 30 out of the first 40 minutes I see them! Being a patient mom is hard! You'll love being in the classroom!
