End of Summer - 1st Day of School!

Yesterday was the last day of Summer Vacation and I took a long lunch to join my favorite little man for some tacos.  Just as I was telling him I think I was going to that other front tooth that is just hanging there by a thread...he took a bit of taco - and out it came.

 After the remaining work day, and soccer practice the kids got to choose where to go for dinner to celebrate the last day of summer and of course we ate at Gourmet - McDonald's!

Then...

Today was the 1st day of School!  Shaun starting 2nd Grade and Ainsley starting "Little Scholars".  That is the Pre-K program at the same school as Shaun.

Shaun's teacher is great and he has several buddies in his class.

Ainsley was a bit nervous - but just had a little meet and greet this morning and starts for real tomorrow.

She loved her new backpack and brought it even though she didn't really have class today.

I took the day off since we had orientation and Ainsley is off the rest of the day...so now - us girls are going to get our nails done!  Girls Day!
