Sad morning...

I need to post about our awesome weekend, but I had to first comment on our sad morning.
We spent some fun time yesterday doing our tradition of carving two big pumpkins with the kids. Fun was had, mess was made, pumpkin seeds toasted and Ainsley even had 3 little mini pumpkins my mom gave them to color on "all by herself".
This morning we woke to find 2 of the mini pumpkins and the big one Ainsley and I carved were gone. Someone stole them. I haven't found any smashed bits in the street - so it would appear someone literally stole them - not just took to smash. Or maybe they took them far off to smash somewhere I guess.

I have always been one of those people who thinks teenagers smashing pumpkins on Halloween is just silly teenage fun and not a big deal - BUT - that is on the Night of Halloween - not a week before hand! And who takes mini- colored (scribbled) on pumpkins that are obviously a little kids masterpiece!? We do have the one Matt and Shaun carved still, and one of the little ones - but it is still so sad to me.

People are mean! But I will not let the little scoundrels win! We are hunting for another perfect pumpkin this week and carving a new one for Ainsley. We have a super busy week - so it may be difficult to find the time - but I'm determined!

Mean people suck!
