We had a blast this weekend! The weather was amazing, so we spent a ton of time outside...love this time of year!
Friday night we went to get Shaun's hair cut and then had dinner out and even ran into some friends at the restaurant by chance. The kids were happy, well behaved and we had a nice family evening.
Saturday was BUSY! Tball game at 9am, then did a quick change in the car and headed to the Phoenix Zoo for Matt's work picnic. Lot's of fun and good networking I think. I got to meet Matt's boss' boss. Nice and engaging woman. I really enjoying putting faces to the names of Matt's co-workers...and the kids had fun too!
After a quick car side baby wipe and disinfectant foam bath, we piled in and headed over to Matt's parents' house. Some of Matt's NJ relatives were visiting and all the family got together to visit with them. They are such nice people. They were so welcoming and kind to us when we visited out there a few years back and that has really stuck with me. I only wish we could have had more time with them.
Sunday brought us Church and Football ( of course). The kids were amazingly well behaved this week for Mass and earned themselves a trip to Dunkin' Donuts (Ainsley's favorite part of the weekend she told me this morning). We spent a lot of time playing outside with neighbors and watching football before having a VERY yummy homemade Jambalya dinner.
It is after weekends like this that I just feel so blessed. I have such a great and fun family...all healthy too! I have a bunch of great baseball pics to share (but I left my camera at the in-laws on Saturday...so you'll have to wait.) Sorry.
