It's so nice now that the kids are older and we look forward to the weekend again! When you have babies the weekdays versus weekend days all kind of blur together. There acutally are times where you look forward to going into work because the weekend is so long and tiring with 24/7 child care duties, housework, and often boredom.
Now that the kids are older the weekends are lots of fun again! Even just running simple errands with them is fun...they are so funny and entertaining sometimes!
After work yesterday the kids immediately jumped in the pool. Matt and I sat by the pool, I cracked open a beer and we cranked up some tunes. It was nice and relaxing...and unusually cool AZ summer day.
Today the kids both got their hair cut and they are so cute! Shaun with his signature buzz cut for summer and Ainsley's was finally mostly even and long enough for an actual hair style. A cute little pixie cut. I'll have to share some pics - but it will have to wait until tomorrow because the kids are sleeping over at Neena Pat's tonight! Wah-Hoo!
Our neighbor is turning 40 and his wife is throwing a raging party for him. So, for the kids to be able to sleep at all - we sent them away. Conveniently this means we have a night off! again I say - Wah-Hoo!! Life is good!
