Post Devoted to Neena Pat and Papa Jerry!

Okay - I have to say we are soooo lucky to have such great family around us here in town.
After our children were nasty in church on Sunday morning we stopped at home for a quick clothing change and then headed out the door to drag reluctant kids with us running errands. On the way out the door the phone rings... It's my parents calling to ask if the kids want to come over and play at their house for a few hours.
I think God saw how awful they were behaving in church and decided we had earned a break and he sent my parents a divine intervention! ;-)
Between my parents and Matt's parents our kids have never had a "real" babysitter...we get a break fairly often...and our kids are developing an amazing relationship with 2 sets of wonderful grandparents! We are very lucky and if they reading this I hope they realize how thankful we are for all they do for us!
We have friends that have to beg, borrow, and steal to get some time away and I only wish they could have what we have. When I was laid off from my old job last year we could have relocated, but one of the big reasons we didn't consider it was that we have such great, generous, loving family here. How can you move away from that?
