Random thoughts...

Shaun started summer camp this week - they got swimming once a week, and they get to do a field trip once a week! Places like Pump it Up, Phoenix Children's Museum, the planetarium, a Movie, a Phoenix Mercruy game! Is it just me - or did summer camp get a LOT more fun!?

Ainsley has been home sick all week - turns out she has Strep Throat - and yet you wouldn't know by watching her play or by her great mood all the time! Why is it you can't even tell when she is sick - but Shaun can't walk to the bathroom by himself when he has a sniffle? Strange?

A friend of Shaun's told me that a girl at camp called him Sexy yesterday. Who call's an almost 1st grader Sexy? Ugh - it starts already!?

I let Shaun stay out late playing with the neighbor kids yesterday. I figured since it was summer and I was working from home today - I'd let him stay out late and sleep in this morning.
You would have thought I gave him a crisp $100 bill or something - he had a BLAST! It's the little things I guess.

Being home with Ainsley these last couple days has been interesting. She sings CONSTANTLY! I knew she did in bed at night and when she wakes up in the morning, but had no idea it continued all day as much as it does. My favorite from yesterday was "Scooby Dooby Doo - can you help me out......Scooby Doo - help me please, Scoooooooby Dooooooooby Doooooooo Hellllllllllllp Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Oooouuuuuuuuttttttttt!" Hey - is that any less creative than "Disco Stick?" Or "OMG" ?
