Today I get to write a big fat check for TWO, count them, TWO new air conditioners. Yeah!
A MUST in Arizona and ours are 14 years old and about to die. So, we are taking advantage of the rebates and tax credits and stimulating the hell out of the economy.
Our thanks for this ... Protesters. Right outside my door...on the sidewalk ....all...day...long!
See, Arizona is a right to work state and not huge for union presence with local companies.
Well, the Sheet Metal Workers Union doesn't like that, so they follow companies (like our AC company) around and protest outside their job sites. These guys actually get paid by the Union to go in front of my house and pace with signs and chant....
Everywhere we go-o,

Who we are...
So we tell them...
We are the Workers,
The mighty,mighty workers,
My neighbors LOVE me today!

Can we say one of my biggest soap boxes ever? Yes Unions were created with a good intent however that good intent has for the most part gone out the window and this is ridiculous. I hope they go away soon! Way to stimulate the economy - we have been doing our part too. See you Saturday!
