So we had a complete rainout for our Memorial Day weekend up north at the cabin. I was equally amazed at how good Ainsley was and how horrible Shaun was over the weekend.
We came home Sunday night and Monday had a nice lunch and swim at my parents' house with our cousins and their kids. It was nice to see Shaun and Jordi, Ainsley and A.J. all get to play together.
The BIG news though - is that I took one side off of Ainsley's convertible crib to make it into a big girl toddler bed. She was SOOOO excited about it she played in her room half the day. She did so great last night. She rolled out and onto the floor once and scared herself. Matt went back in, calmed her down and she went right back to sleep and not a peep the rest of the night.
She looked so sweet laying in her bed this morning, one foot hanging off the side. She looked so big, yet so small at the same time. After she was up and at 'em this morning she was so proud! She starts jabbering about it and says ... "...Shaun slept good in his big boy bed, and I slept so good in my big girl bed. The other girls at school don't have big girl beds, they have baby cribs." So cute!
