Movies - thru the eye's of a 5 year old

So Shaun loves watching movies. Never much got into the kids shows, cartoons...but loves "real" movies. He likes Sound of Music, Titanic, Remember the Titans, Spiderman 1,2, & 3, Superman, etc... Thing is - these movies are not really meant for a 5 year old (except maybe Sound of Music). So, we let him watch, but keep our finger on the skip to next scene button. He's never really seen them all the way through the scary or sexy parts.
Last night, watching Titanic, he thought everyone was over-reacting when it hit the iceberg - because "mommy, what's the big deal - it's just ice".
It struck me as so funny to think about how he must see these movies with the skipped parts.
I'm sure I'm warping him... oh well, it's better than making mommy and daddy watch the Wiggles!
